March 2022 Newsletter

Creating a culture of inclusion is critical to our success. For us, inclusion means celebrating and leveraging diversity. It’s an essential part of building a sense of community and connection which are part of the core values at Help in the Home. In fact, we believe and recognize that sometimes differences can actually be superpowers. Reinforcing the idea that being DIFFERENT doesn’t mean being LESS THAN is really important to us.

Check out our March blog post with Dr. Melissa N. Smith, Ph.D., ABSNP and Christina F. Morrissey, M.S., CCC-SLP, who were presenters at Fusion Academy’s virtual lunch and learn event, Changing the Paradigm of Neurodiversity: Acceptance, Inclusion, and Social Justice. We share the presenter’s key takeaways HERE.
