April Newsletter

Even before opening Help in the Home more than 13 years ago, we have made consistent efforts to remain current on policy issues regarding the rights of individuals with severe mental illness. Advocacy remains a focus for us and we encourage our staff, clients and their families to get involved as well.

Check out this month’s blog as we discuss with Cornelius Kuteesa, our Care Coordinator/Peer Mentor, more about the Assisted Outpatient Treatment (AOT) bill, his experience testifying at the bill hearing and how you can get involved.
