Happiness at Help in the Home

We value staff satisfaction because it directly impacts our clients’ quality of care.

One of the biggest indications of staff satisfaction is their longevity with us. We evaluate employee happiness at Help in the Home by sending out surveys to our employees twice per year which are completed anonymously. We use the data from these surveys to inform decisions when we are looking at changing policies and benefits. These surveys have become a critical tool for improving employee retention. It also helps us refine our company culture. Most importantly, it creates an opportunity for open communication where employees know we want to hear their concerns and their concerns will be addressed.

Results from the most recent employee satisfaction revealed that 100% of our staff agreed on the following:

  • Help in the Home’s goals are clear
  • I am proud to be part of the Help in the Home team
  • I look forward to coming to work each day
  • I look forward to interacting with my coworkers
  • I enjoy the culture at Help in the Home
  • I find my work meaningful

These results filled our hearts with joy! We are also proud to share that all of our staff members have been with us for at least one year or longer. Some staff have even been with us from the very beginning and are going into their 17th year at Help in the Home! We hope you will join us in celebrating this success by reviewing the staff anniversaries below and the “why” behind what keeps them dedicated to client care.
